PLEASE, do a tutorial(s) on how to create a WordPress Theme. Possibly using Dreamweaver or MAMP, XAMP, etc. This is the most needed for us Dreamweaver people who want to migrate to WP but can’t seem to understand the tags, the PHP calls, “loop” and other stuff that reads simple in the Codex, but is complicated to execute without any kind of “visual” tutorial.

    PLEASE do this ASAP.

Thanks for creating this much needed website. You should also sell ads on here I think.

    Hi WordPress creators!

Very proud to see visual tutorials on your website.

I’m a bit intermidiate user of wp, I use wp as CMS  🙂 (e.g. http://redaktore.lt/kontaktai/  root is currently closed for all, bet you can browse, this is my friends website created by myself, all frontend is customized in backend):
    – Links above
    – Sidebar menu (child of Paslaugos)
    – Apie mane (About myself) at the bottom is private PAGE, title and content goes there.

So I thint that you maybe can create for beginers video dealing with creating simple websites useing WordPress 🙂

      Proudly yours 🙂 Anatolij Nechiporenko

    Yours sincerely,

    Hi

Thanks alot for putting out the best of the best for us to use.
Nothing I have seen compares to WordPress.
I’d like to watch a step by step vidoe of someone taking a copy of the default theme and customize it with various things like fixed backgrounds and other personal mods like changing numbers of columns and widths etc….
I did this with the info provided in the forums and other places I read
http://www.magithebook.com (if you are interested in looking). (a hack, and not hack in the good sense)
I think I could do more in time, but a video like the ones available now would really help. Again, thanks for all the great things you have created and made available. WP rules!!!
    cheers
    Donny

Awesome site, especially all the WordCamp videos.
It’d be awesome if you could have a blackout button, like Hulu’s “lights down”; it makes it much easier to concentrate on the video.
Also, are the videos linked to their slides? In a lot of WordCamp videos, the slides are a major part of them.

I think it would be really nice to have an open or semi-open subtitle/caption function, so users from all around the world may translate these videos ASAP, rather than wasting time producing the same videos in different languages; or get confused over the accents 😉
